Sculpture and photography maintain a singular and dissimilar relationship to space, and it is through this that I conceive a dialogue which, like walking, in punctuated strides, one leg coming to catch up with the imbalance created by the other, answer each other in complicity, creating a language of its own on the threshold of my work. For me, space is a concrete and plastic material that is worked and formed, the emptiness by which it is characterized is not, figuratively speaking, inconsistent, but coherent and solid. In other words, it is full. The form that imposes itself on it, the work, by spacing it out, defines it and becomes its place, it says: here. It creates a mental space, the architecture of dreams where one remains, as one remains in one's body, that is, through the mind.
